Project Overview
The client is currently the largest and most modern vinegar manufacturer in China, as well as the industry’s first publicly listed company. The company has total assets of 4 billion yuan and annual sales exceeding 2 billion yuan, with core business revenue surpassing 1.4 billion yuan. It also serves as the chair unit of the China Condiment Association, a founding member of the China Vinegar Professional Committee, and the chair unit of the China Vinegar Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance.
As the business continues to expand, the bottlenecks of the company’s existing warehousing and logistics model have become increasingly apparent:
1. Flat storage of finished products occupies a large area, resulting in high land costs;
2. The distance between production workshops and warehouses is significant, leading to time-consuming and costly manual transportation;
3. Daily shipment volumes are high, making truck scheduling difficult and loading/shipping efficiency low;
4. Insufficient IT infrastructure prevents real-time synchronization of production and inventory data, affecting the scientific basis of decision-making.
Project Scale
To address these challenges, HERO Intelligent designed a customized automated vertical storage and logistics distribution system. The finished goods warehouse covers an area of 8,000 square meters and stands 24 meters tall. It features 12 aisles and 22,464 storage bins, capable of storing goods measuring 1,300 × 1,100 × 1,450 mm and weighing up to 1,000 kg, with a throughput of 487 pallets per hour. The outbound operation area is equipped with 24 conveyor lines, with a total logistics conveying length of approximately 241 meters. It incorporates intelligent equipment such as stacker cranes, elevators, and stretch wrappers to comprehensively ensure efficient logistics operations.
Project Highlights
1. Deep Integration of Multiple Systems: The WMS achieves seamless connectivity with SAP, MES, SRM, and WCS for master data, order information, inventory count data, stock adjustment information, and putaway/picking instructions; it also integrates seamlessly with intelligent equipment such as stacker cranes and conveyors, significantly enhancing warehouse operation efficiency and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of data transmission.

2. Data Visualization for Informed Decision-Making: Real-time display of key metrics such as SKUs, inbound/outbound shipments, and inventory turnover rates provides scientific and reliable data support for executive decision-making.

3. TMS-Driven Intelligent Transportation Process Control: Equipped with a TMS (Transportation Management System), the solution enables vehicle booking, loading dock scheduling, and end-to-end visual tracking of transport orders, transport tasks, and dispatch orders, thereby improving control and management efficiency throughout the transportation process.
