AGV Automated Guided Vehicles Bloom in Multiple Sectors, Empowering Diverse Industries to Embark on New Journeys of Intelligent Upgrades

In recent years, rising labor costs and heightened corporate demands for production efficiency have fueled sustained growth in AGV market demand. As intelligent devices capable of autonomous navigation and automated material handling, AGVs not only overcome the limitations of traditional manual operations but also serve as indispensable assistants in corporate smart transformation through their stable performance and traceable operational data.

In manufacturing production workshops, AGVs have revolutionized the cumbersome processes of traditional material distribution. Previously, the transfer of raw materials and semi-finished products within workshops relied on manual carts, resulting in low efficiency and frequent issues such as misdelivery, missed deliveries, and personnel-related risks. Today, AGVs utilize advanced technologies like laser navigation and visual navigation to accurately identify routes, automatically avoid obstacles, and execute material transfers between workshop stations according to pre-programmed sequences.

Warehousing and logistics represent another core application domain for AGVs. Against the backdrop of rapid e-commerce growth, the workload for warehouse sorting and goods handling has surged dramatically. Traditional warehousing models face challenges of low sorting efficiency and high error rates. AGVs seamlessly integrate with warehouse management systems to automate a full suite of operations, including goods sorting, transportation, and inventory management. In large e-commerce warehouses, AGVs precisely locate goods based on order information, retrieve items from shelves, and transport them to sorting stations—all without human intervention. This achieves a sorting accuracy rate of 99.9% and boosts sorting efficiency by over three times compared to manual labor. Simultaneously, AGV implementation minimizes warehouse space wastage by optimizing operational routes, thereby maximizing storage space utilization.

Beyond these sectors, AGVs hold broad application prospects in electronics manufacturing, food processing, tobacco, and other industries. In electronics assembly workshops, AGVs precisely transport delicate electronic components, eliminating damage risks associated with manual handling. Within food processing facilities, AGVs comply with sanitary production standards, enabling automated transport of raw materials and finished goods outbound logistics.
