HERO Intelligent has designed a customized corridor logistics conveying solution for a cigarette factory, enabling a smart upgrade of its warehousing and logistics operations!
The existing logistics model at a certain cigarette factory could no longer meet the demands of large-scale production. HERO Intelligent developed a tailored corridor logistics conveying project that precisely addresses logistics pain points, improves quality and efficiency, and empowers production.
Project Challenges:
1.The raw material warehouse is located far from the production workshop, resulting in low efficiency and high costs for manual transportation;
2.Information management is outdated; raw material inventory data relies on manual entry, which is inefficient and prone to errors;
3.The process of transferring raw materials to the workshop lacks effective control, and the absence of logistics information makes it difficult to trace product quality.
The project’s hardware configuration includes intelligent equipment such as forklift AGVs, dual-station RGVs, reciprocating elevators, and conveyors; the software integrates WMS (Warehouse Management System) and WCS (Warehouse Control System) to achieve seamless coordination between hardware and software.
Project Highlights:
1.Establishment of a comprehensive logistics and distribution system, achieving full-process automation for roll and package auxiliary materials—from centralized tray storage and outbound conveyance to AGV-based delivery to roll and package assembly lines and packaging lines.
2.Implementation of tray-to-machine correspondence management, quality traceability for roll and package auxiliary materials, machine consumption control, and the collection and tracking of end-to-end information for roll and package auxiliary materials.
