Overview of Intelligent storage Systems

The intelligent storage system adopts advanced control, bus, communication, and information technology. Through the coordination of equipment such as storage racks, aisle stackers, shuttle cars, AGVs, inbound and outbound conveying systems, robots, and computer operation control systems, the inbound and outbound operations are carried out, achieving efficient, accurate, and automated management of storage locations in the warehouse.

Stacker type intelligent storage system

The core equipment of the stacker crane type intelligent storage system is a track aisle stacker, which can walk horizontally and vertically in the aisle of the automatic warehouse according to computer instructions, and use forks to remove or store the cargo units on the cargo grid. The Hero stacker crane adopts full closed-loop control and is equipped with high-precision absolute address recognition systems such as barcode or laser ranging for address recognition, achieving high-precision operation of the stacker crane.

Multi layer shuttle vehicle intelligent warehousing system

The intelligent storage of multi-layer shuttle vehicles can be divided into two types based on the type of vehicle: tray type and box type; It can be divided into four directions/two directions according to the direction of movement.


Four-way shuttle

The automated warehousing system using a four-way shuttle consists of two core equipment: a high-speed shuttle and a high-speed lifts. It is suitable for high-density storage scenarios and, in conjunction with intelligent equipment such as lifts and conveyors, achieves operations such as picking up, transporting, and placing goods in the warehouse. By combining the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS), automated identification and access management of goods can be achieved.


Two way shuttle

Using an automated warehousing system with a two-way shuttle, the shuttle performs forward and backward movements and needs to be used in conjunction with equipment such as lifts/stackers/forklifts.

AGV type intelligent storage system

AGV unmanned transport vehicle refers to a transport vehicle equipped with automatic guidance devices such as laser/barcode/electromagnetic, capable of traveling along a designated path without the need for dedicated tracks, with safety protection and various load transfer functions, powered by high-capacity rechargeable batteries.


Classification of AGV warehouse

① Pallet AGV Warehouse: Adopting fork type AGV to handle multi-level access of pallet materials, including stacking height type, forward moving type, balance weight type, three-way narrow aisle forklift type, etc.
② AGV storage for material boxes: Multi layer material box robots are used to automatically access items/box type goods on shelves.
